The ESA, as a chapter of the ILAE, will be involved in drafting a plan for Australian Epilepsy as part of the IGAP (Intersectoral Global Action Plan on Epilepsy and Other Neurological Disorders) a 10-year plan to close epilepsy treatment, inclusion and research gaps worldwide. An ESA working group has been formed, and discussions with epilepsy partner organizations will be planned in order to set priorities for this work, with a view to the eventual engagement with government.
